Attention:  All Past, Present and Future Members of the fmi*igf Fredericton Chapter

It is time to renew (or begin) your fmi*igf membership for the 2015-2016 year which runs from July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016. The dues for the year are $40.00 which includes $16.95 national fee and $23.05 local chapter fee. 

We are happy to introduce a new user friendly membership database!  We are also accepting credit card payments!  To begin your 2015-16 membership, please log into the new membership database or create an account at https://www.fmi-igf.ca/login/login .

The first time you login please click "Forgot Password" to reset your password.  You will receive an email immediately to reset your password.  Any new members will need to create a profile.  Please take a few minutes to update your profile in the new database.

The Fredericton Chapter enjoyed another very successful year during 2014-15 with 144 members. Attendance at professional development workshops during the year was excellent including a half day professional development networking workshop.  We have another great year planned for 2015-16.  Remember, each event is a PD credit.  If you have any suggestions for a topic or speaker, please let any Fredericton Chapter board member know and we will do our best to incorporate into the upcoming year.

For members of the fmi*igf Fredericton Chapter, one of the benefits of membership is the Peter Wolters Memorial Scholarship. The purpose of this annual bursary is to extend scholarship assistance in the amount of $500 to a member in good standing or the dependent of a member in good standing of the fmi*igf Fredericton Chapter who is in any year of study in a accredited professional accounting designation program, or at a university or community college in Canada.  Applications will be available later in the year.

The Chapter's Annual General Meeting and kickoff professional development event will be at 8am on September 14, 2015 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. The guest speaker will be Milt Isaacs, President, Association of Canadian Financial Officers, speaking on "Building a Sustainable Society". More information and registration details will be available soon.

On June 13th, 2013, the general membership approved a revised By-Laws document. Highlights are:

- New board structure

- Increase in membership fees from $32.25 to $40.00
