Financial accountability is an important concept that public sector professionals need to be aware of and practice. Accountability ensures actions and decisions taken by public officials are subject to oversight so as to guarantee that government initiatives meet their stated objectives and respond to the needs of the community they are meant to be benefiting.

On Wednesday, June 28, 2017 we hosted an informative half-day professional development event that explored the topic of financial accountability. This was a comprehensive session, ranging from technical processes, to leadership, and evolving governmental priorities.
