About

The Ontario Chapter is one of 14 FMI Chapters across Canada. Based in Toronto, we have been providing professional development to the local and regional public sector community since 2006.

Operating as a regional affiliate of the FMI National Office, we host a range of learning and networking events that help our members become better informed on current and emerging topics affecting the public sector financial management community at all levels of government and related organizations across the province.

The Ontario Chapter is focused on the following priorities:

  • Building a robust and sound Chapter governance structure
  • Delivering timely and relevant financial management professional development events
  • Providing sustainable cost-effective and accessible learning
