About

The St. John’s Chapter is one of 14 FMI Chapters across Canada. We have been providing local members of the public sector with professional development events since 2002.

Operating as a regional affiliate of the FMI National Office, we host a broad range of learning events and networking opportunities throughout the year focusing on financial management issues that impact all levels of government in Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our Chapter has grown progressively since its inception and our membership now includes representatives from all three levels of Government, Accounting Firms, Crown Agencies and Corporations, and other private sector firms.

Benefits of becoming
a member of the St. John’s Chapter

  • Learn about key issues facing public sector operations in the area
  • Get access to a range of high-quality events and webinars that are either complimentary or available for a modest fee
  • Meet, network, and exchange ideas with other public sector focused professionals from all levels of government, academia, not-for-profit and private sector organizations
  • Stay engaged and up to date on important opportunities, issues, and challenges throughout the year

The best part: membership is completely free!
