Speakers

John Cameron

John has extensive experience teaching writing and presenting at the high-school level (33 years) followed by 13 years teaching business communications at UPEI’s Don MacDougall’s Faculty of Business, He’s had experience applying these skills through community involvement–two terms on the Morell Rural Municipality Council and multiples terms on the Morell Co-op & Morell Credit Union boards. He currently sits on the board of P.E.I.’s Credit Union Deposit Insurance Corporation. In 2024 he co-authored Jimmy MacAulay, The Man Who Got Things Done, the story of a well-known and respected Island educator and community volunteer.
