Join us for a powerful session led by Dr. Candy Khan, a trailblazer in combating workplace bullying, harassment, and promoting ethical practices in Alberta. As a recognized expert in equity, diversity, inclusion, belonging (EDIB), and workplace ethics, Dr. Khan has worked with organizations across sectors to foster inclusive and ethical workplaces. She brings a wealth of experience from her work with grassroots nonprofits, municipal governments, and corporate organizations, where she has developed award-winning programs and inspired thousands through her mentorship, training, and advocacy.
Dr. Khan will present “Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Belonging (EDIB), Social Identity, and Ethics”, a 90-minute session designed to provide foundational knowledge on EDIB concepts and explore the ethical considerations that underpin inclusive practices. Participants will delve into social identity, intersectionality, power, and privilege, while also examining how ethics play a critical role in shaping fair and respectful environments. Through facilitated discussions and reflections, this session will equip attendees with the tools to engage in meaningful dialogue and foster both inclusive and ethically sound workplace cultures.
