Giving Voices to Values
The Prince Edward Island Chapter is pleased to invite you to a skill workshop: Giving Voices to Values
On Wednesday, January 22nd, 2025 join Dr. Blake Jelley, Professor of Management at UPEI’s McDougall Faculty of Business, for a skills workshop on Giving Voice to Values (GVV).
GVV is a practical approach to applied ethics and values-driven leadership. Rather than analyzing right-versus-wrong or more nuanced ethical dilemmas, GVV begins with the assumption that people want to act on their values. “Once I know what I think is right, how can I get it done, effectively? What would I say and do?” This workshop is about probing those core questions aligned with GVV’s implementation focus by working collaboratively to anticipate challenges and develop action plans to help pragmatists act on their values effectively.
