Risk Management / Project Management for the FI Community

The Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter is pleased to invite you to an In-Person Professional Development Day on Risk Management / Project Management for the FI Community

Keynote Speaker – Samantha Tattersall, Assistant Comptroller General, Investment Management Sector, Office of the Comptroller General, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat / Government of Canada

Our full-day in-person event will center on Project/Program Management, Risk Management and how Procurement is critically important in this process. The day will feature discussions and interactive workshops on

• New PCRA and GC EARB reviews
• Lessons learned on a large Project implementation
• Cost Estimating basics and the role of an FMA
• Cloud Based Considerations

Each of the topics will be covered in detail during the morning sessions with a substantive case study in the afternoon.

There will be networking opportunities during the day, and the day will finish with a cocktail hour where the participants will be able to network with CFOs and DCFOs. Meals and refreshments during breaks will be provided.

Cancellations for refund can be made up to 15 days prior to the event date, after that, there will be no refunds.  Participants can be substituted up to 3 days prior to the event, however, dietary restrictions can only be submitted up to 10 days prior to the event.
