The Ottawa-Outaouais Chapter is pleased to invite you to an In-Person Professional Development Day on Risk Management / Project Management for the CT-FIN Community

Keynote Speaker – Samantha Tattersall, Assistant Comptroller General, Investment Management Sector, Office of the Comptroller General, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat / Government of Canada

Our full-day in-person event will center on Project/Program Management, Risk Management and how Procurement is critically important in this process. The day will feature discussions and interactive workshops on:

  • New PCRA and GC EARB reviews
  • Lessons learned on a large Project implementation
  • Cost Estimating basics and the role of an FMA
  • Cloud Based Considerations

Each of the topics will be covered in detail during the morning sessions with a substantive case study in the afternoon.

There will be networking opportunities during the day, and the day will finish with a cocktail hour where the participants will be able to network with CFOs and DCFOs. Meals and refreshments during breaks will be provided.
