Bev McPhee, MBA

As a senior executive who has led operational teams of over 500 staff, Bev now focuses primarily on executive leadership development with select global clients. She can, however, occasionally still be persuaded to return to the front lines in support of high-stakes, adrenaline-inducing operational gigs—such as the rollout of the Province of BC’s Immunization Program during the pandemic. Her sector work spans Technology, Oil & Gas, Real Estate, Mining, Finance, Forestry, Health, Education, Transportation, Marine, and Public Service.

Bev is also a long-time Associate Faculty member at Royal Roads University and has enjoyed learning from hundreds of graduate students in her various courses. She’s been widely recognized for her contributions in the fields of Technology and Organizational Communications, including nominations for YWCA’s Women of Distinction Award and RRU’s Kelly Outstanding Teaching Award. HR.Com recently presented one of Bev’s flagship leadership programs with their LEAD Award for Best Innovation in Design & Execution in North America.

Living on Vancouver Island, Bev enjoys the west coast lifestyle of skiing, cycling, and going for brunch on Sundays. While she’s completed over a dozen marathons—including surviving Boston’s Heartbreak Hill three times—she admits that most of her running now comes from racing to keep up with her direct reports (3 sons + 2 daughters) and three skip-levels: the mighty grand-daughters.
