Blockchain: A Non-Technical Introduction – Breakfast Presentation

Many organizations (especially in the financial services sector) are investing in identification and implementation of blockchain technology which brings about a fundamental change in the current state processes and associated risks.  However, lack of understanding of risks, controls, governance models, and future state process flows could result in organizations scrapping these initiatives or not getting the expected return on investment.  This session will provide a non-technical introduction to blockchain and discuss some use cases as well as the changes blockchain introduces to the risk landscape.  This is a great opportunity to learn about this emerging technology from industry experts.
