8:30 – 9:30 Presentation: Why do Fortune 500 companies like Google, Nike and Apple utilize Mindfulness in the workplace?
In the high paced, high stress environments that we all work, there is a real need and desire for the integration of mindfulness.
Mindfulness in the workplace provides the following documented benefits, and more:
- Increased productivity and creativity
- Increased ability to self-regulate, focus attention, and switch strategies
- Decreased spontaneous behaviour which is often linked to poor decision-making
- Increased density of gray matter in the area of the brain responsible for focus and memory
- Decreased blood pressure, cortisol (stress-related hormone) and depression
- Increased immune response, emotional regulation, resilience, and quality of sleep
Think about that: improved ability to quickly shift activities in a focused manner, to make better decisions, and regulate emotional responses.
What would the added value be to your organization to enhance the state of mind of every person in it? Begin to strengthen your business and home communications as well as your overall state of mind by utilizing the simple techniques offered in this session.
