Synopsis:

The Winnipeg Transit Master Plan is the first comprehensive plan for public transit service and infrastructure in Winnipeg’s history.

Drawing on public feedback and “big data” analytics, the plan proposed an entirely redesigned public transit network, shifting the focus from rush hour commutes to transit-enabled lifestyles. The heart of this new transit network will be Union Station, attracting new life to this landmark heritage building as the city’s flagship mobility hub.
