Presenters Dr. Aaron Moore and City Economist Tyler Markowsky spoke about government’s constrains in their capacity to react to unpredictable events, and challenges reacting quickly to changing conditions. The speakers discussed the many forces that make long-term government planning difficult – including global economy, climate change, politics, and demographics.
