Picking a CFO’s Brain *Location Change*

Have you ever wanted to have a group of senior public sector financial leaders in the same room and just have at them with questions?

Well the fmi*igf Nova Scotia Chapter is giving you the chance to do just that. We have convened an excellent panel of Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) from all levels of government who will provide insights into their daily lives and what keeps them up at night – the challenges, opportunities, emerging trends, and how they deal with them.

Our wonderful panelists are:

  • Jane Fraser, Chief Financial Officer of Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)
  • Geoff Gatien, Associate Deputy Minister and Controller for the Province of Nova Scotia
  • Stéphane Lagacé, Chief Financial Officer for Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) in Moncton
  • Liz Stuart, Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Financial Officer of Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC)

The panel will be moderated by Bruce Manion, former (now retired) Assistant Deputy Minister / Chief Financial Officer from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) and Canadian Heritage, and a fairly familiar face in FMI circles.

Come and learn from these great leaders of our community and bring your questions – another opportunity like this one might be a long time coming!!!

We look forward to seeing you on October 3rd!

All sessions qualify for 3 verifiable CPD credits.
