David WhelbournDavid Whelbourn is currently the Programme Director for CyberNB – a Government of New Brunswick Special Operating Agency with the objective to establish New Brunswick as the Canadian Epicentre for Cybersecurity. David has delivered innovations in business practices, medical practices and shared services.

David is a certified project and programme manager, he is an accomplished project management professional with more than 25 years experience in both the private and public sectors.  He has managed projects and programmes across diverse range of areas from Information Technology, Healthcare, Business services, Distribution and the Public Sector. He has been a contributor to Project Management knowledge and PMI standards since 2005.

David brings a proven success record in project leadership in innovative projects for companies such as Panasonic, Reed Exhibitions, Medicsight and the Government of New Brunswick.
Originally from the UK, David immigrated to Canada and New Brunswick in 2005. He became a Canadian Citizen in 2010.
