Delivering Public Sector Value with Transformative Financial Management Models

Date: | Time:

The current situation of global pandemic has revealed the need to accelerate organizational agility while delivering public value with efficiency.

Governments work to make a positive impact in the lives of citizens and they need to deliver value in an open and transparent way, while improving accessibility to government services.

Building the right public management model is critical to meet the government’s public and financial needs and in facilitating real-time analytics. There must be transparency in accessing information and how that information is translated into programs. In addition, government must be able to demonstrate efficiency in how public funds are used to achieve the objectives of those programs.

IBM’s Patrick Fontaine and Adam McCann will share insights on the definition and implementation of financial management models that are addressing these requirements. Using real use cases, this session will provide insights into the questions and decisions it takes for these transparent and efficient models to be implemented in a public sector environment.
